
Golf Channel, in partnership with State Farm Insurance, will provide exclusive highlight coverage of the 22nd PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship, which concluded its 11th consecutive appearance at The PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., May 9-11.
The first of three one-hour programs will air Wednesday, July 7, at 7:00 p.m. ET. The program will feature a review of the competition from all six collegiate divisions participating in the Championship. The program will be repeated July 8, at 10:00 a.m. and July 30, at 1:30 p.m. ET.
"We are excited to be partnering with Golf Channel and State Farm Insurance to highlight the 22nd edition of the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship," said PGA of America President Brian Whitcomb. "This event is a great opportunity to showcase some of the best student-athletes from around the country who were part of one of this year's most exciting Championships."
The three-day, 54-hole stroke-play Championship featured four team divisions: Men's Division I & II, NAIA Men's, and Women's, as well as an Individual Invitational for minority men and women contestants. More than 190 contestants from 47 colleges and universities, representing 14 countries, competed at The PGA Golf Club.
Program highlights will also feature the Business of Golf Career Expo, which marked its 14th year as an invaluable resource tool which introduces student-athletes to employment opportunities in the golf industry.
